2. Sensitive Permissions Explained

To provide its core features, Lumo Flash requires access to certain sensitive permissions. We want to be completely transparent about why we need them:

• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): This permission is required **solely** to access and control the camera's LED flash to function as a flashlight and for flash alerts. The Application **never** takes pictures, records video, or accesses your camera's image sensor.
• Notification Listener (android.permission.BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE): This is a special access permission required to detect incoming notifications from other applications. This allows Lumo Flash to provide flash alerts for your selected apps. The Application **only reads the source application's package name and notification category (e.g., 'call')**. We **do not** read, collect, or store the content of your notifications, such as messages or contact names.
• Query All Packages (android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): This permission is required to display a complete list of installed applications on the "Select Apps" screen. This is a core feature that allows you to choose which specific apps you want to receive flash alerts for. The Application **only uses this list for display purposes within the app** and does not send this data anywhere.

How We Use Your Information

Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not use it in any way. The permissions requested are used exclusively on your device to enable the Application's functionality.

Data Security

All processing related to notifications and app lists happens locally on your device. No sensitive information ever leaves your phone.

Third-Party Services
